Duties & Tax
We aim to provide a smooth and transparent shopping experience for all our customers. Here’s what you need to know about duties and taxes when shopping with us:
Duties and taxes are automatically added at checkout.
If you’re shopping from outside the UK, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes once it arrives in your country. These charges depend on the customs regulations of your country and are not controlled by us.
Any duties or taxes applied to your order are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more details on potential charges before placing an order.
Please note that in case you refuse delivery of your order and your local customs authority applies any duties or taxes, these will be deducted from your refund.
From 01/01/2021, EU customers purchasing UK originating goods are subject to import duty and VAT.
Please note that for orders over €1000, customers with deliveries in Greece will have to issue an import/export EORI number at their local municipality.
Effective March 1, 2023, shipments to the following European Union countries, (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Lithuania, and Romania), require the customer to register and/or provide their EORI number at the time of customs clearance for business-to-consumer orders. In order to obtain an EORI number, the customer must submit or send by e-mail to the competent Customs Authorities, an Application/Declaration. For further information, please check with your country’s customs office.
Returns & Refunds
We hope that you love every purchase from Ashish but, if you are not completely satisfied with your item(s), we operate a 14-day return policy upon receipt of your order in exchange for a refund or credit note. Depending on stock availability, we will also do our best to accommodate exchanges where possible. To qualify for a full return, all items must be returned unworn, in their original packaging with tags attached and the anti-return ribbon still intact.
Please note, we hold the right to refuse refunds if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.
Postal Returns
All returns require a Return Authorisation Number - returns without a Return Authorisation Number will not be accepted. Please contact hello@ashish.co.uk to obtain a Return Authorisation Number.
The buyer is responsible for the return shipping and shipping cost. Ashish is not responsible for return shipping costs or duty reimbursement in the case of international purchases. Please ship the return via a trackable method and retain a valid proof of postage as we are unable to action any refunds until the order has been receipted and processed.
For EU and International returns, please clearly mark your package and commercial invoice as ‘Returned Goods’ to avoid delays at Customs. The relevant documentation is the responsibility of the customer but please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team if you have any queries.

We will aim to process your return within 7 working days, please allow up to 14 days for refunds to show in your account.
Faulty Items
If you receive an item that you consider to be damaged or faulty, to be eligible for a refund you will need to contact us as soon as possible within 48 hours of delivery with further information and imagery. Please email hello@ashish.co.uk, detailing your name and order number for reference.
Ashish styles are lovingly hand-embroidered, so please handle with care.
